Heavy Diesel Equipment/Crane Technician, Level 2 Certificate
Program Information
The Heavy Diesel Equipment/Crane Technology Level 2 Certificate will prepare students for a career in the repair and maintenance of diesel engines and the electrical components of off-road heavy equipment, cranes, forklifts, and other various equipment. Topics of study will focus on the knowledge and technical skills students need to obtain entry-level employment.
Career Opportunities
The Texas Workforce Commission projects that Texas will need over 9,000 additional crane operators from 2020-2030.

Students enrolling into San Jacinto College programs with external learning experiences (i.e., clinical, practicum, externship, cooperative, etc.) will be required to comply with the immunization requirements and policies of the clinical/external learning sites to engage in all clinical/external learning experiences.
