Unlock Endless Opportunities with Mathematics
Mathematics is the foundation for innovation, problem-solving, and discovery. From engineering to finance, data science to medicine, a strong math background opens doors to careers across industries and disciplines. At San Jacinto College, our Associate of Science (AS) in Mathematics provides a solid academic foundation through small classes taught by expert faculty committed to your success. This program is designed for students planning to transfer to a four-year university to pursue degrees in mathematics, the sciences, engineering, computer science, or related fields. With a rigorous curriculum emphasizing higher-level math and science courses, you’ll be prepared to thrive in advanced studies—or launch directly into technical fields where analytical skills are in high demand.
