In accordance with the Jeanne Clery Act, the College publishes its annual security compliance document on the website of the San Jacinto College Police Department at www.sanjac.edu/security-report. The annual report contains information about crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by San Jacinto College; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campuses. The website and Annual Security Report also contain information regarding campus security and personal safety, including topics such as crime prevention (including prevention of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking), College police law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures, and other matters of importance related to security on the campuses. Crime statistics regarding the College for the past three years are also available at http://ope.ed.gov/campussafety/#/.
A hard copy of the San Jacinto College Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available for review at each of the campus police department offices.
